Investigators in the Special Enforcement Section of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division have laid charges against two people from Cole Harbour following a search of a residence yesterday.
On January 9, investigators searched a home on Westfield Crescent in Cole Harbour and seized 128 grams of cocaine, firearm ammunition and drug trafficking paraphernalia. A man and a woman were arrested at the scene without incident. An additional adult, two children and a youth were also in the home at the time.
Fedul Cain, 42, of Cole Harbour has been charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking and Possess of Ammunition While Prohibited. He was remanded into custody and appeared in Dartmouth Provincial Court this morning.
Elayne Gannon, 42, of Cole Harbour has been charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking. She has been released from custody and is scheduled to appear in Dartmouth Provincial Court at 9:30 a.m. on February 5, 2019.
The investigation is continuing.
