Just before 6:30 p.m. on March 18, a man approached a woman in her 50s who was shopping at Walmart located at 141 Damascus Road. The woman yelled and the man ran away. She reported the incident to a store employee and then called police.

Brian James MacDonald faced one charge of sexual assault and is scheduled to appear in Halifax Provincial Court again on September 7.
