Oh, ’tis the season for annual general meetings!
This Wednesday, June 15 the Chebucto Family Centre (Home of the Guardian Angel) will hold its AGM from 7pm to 9pm at its building on 3 Sylvia Ave. That’s the same street as J.L. Ilsley High school, at the corner of Herring Cove Road.
For those who may not recognize the name, the Chebucto Family Centre was previously named the Spryfield Single Parent Centre. There have been many changes, including the name. They’ve also renovated the building during the past year to add more space.
The centre helps families in many ways, including training doulas for birth, nutrition and play programs for children, and parental counselling of all sorts.
Everyone is welcome at the AGM.
