Cheticamp RCMP warn residents about telephone scam, Cheticamp, N.S.

Cheticamp RCMP wish to advise the general public of a telephone fraud that has been reported. The caller will state that he/she is a representative of RBC (Royal Bank of Canada) and will ask for your client card number.

Please do not provide any information and just hang up as RBC would never ask for this information over the phone. Never reveal any confidential information unless you are certain that you are speaking to a reliable, known source.
