Chickenburger Comes To Downtown Halifax

The Chickenburger is coming to Halifax’s Downtown core. 

The original Chickenburger, owned by the Innes family since 1940 and purchased by Mickey Macdonald (Who also owns Mills Brothers and Palooka’s Gym) remains the most iconic restaurant in Bedford, and considered to be the hub of the area.

The new location will be located on Queen Street near Spring Garden Road, just behind American Apparel & Starbucks.  In an interview with Metro Halifax today Mickey says construction begins in Spring 2010, with an opening in the Fall.
