RCMP release:

Digby RCMP Detachment is investigating a fatal ATV crash that occurred in Mount Pleasant.

On December 9 at approximately 3:20 p.m., Digby RCMP officers and EHS responded to a report of an overturned ATV in a private lot. A child passenger had life-threatening injuries.

The first officers who arrived performed first aid. The child was transported to hospital by EHS and later pronounced deceased.

The driver did not report injuries.

RCMP Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Services was consulted to support the investigation, which is ongoing.
