The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents and visitors that Chocolate Lake Beach in Halifax is closed to swimming until further notice due to a search in the water.
Emergency rescue crews are asking people to stay out of the water so they can conduct a safe and thorough search.
The lake will remain closed until rescue crews have concluded their work in the area.
Check the @hfxgov Twitter handle for further updates. A new PSA will be circulated once the lake re-opens for swimming.
