As Christian Fiction becomes increasingly popular among readers, the new book offerings are becoming much broader in their scope and style. I have noticed that many of the new titles are quite edgy: full of darkness; suspense; and tough characters.
Consider the following series:
The Guardians of Justice series (M)
by Irene Hannon
Featuring: Fatal Judgement and Deadly Pursuit
The Book of Mortals series (M)
by Ted Dekker and Tosca Lee
Featuring: Forbidden and Mortal
The Intervention series (M)
by Terri Blackstock
“Barbara Covington has one more chance to save her daughter from a devastating addiction: staging an intervention. But when eighteen-year-old Emily disappears on the way to drug treatment–and her interventionist is found dead at the airport where she was last seen–Barbara enters her darkest nightmare of all.” – publisher’s description of Intervention
