Clothing Sale Ends With Assault

At approximately 10:25 pm Halifax Regional Police responded to a report of a robbery in the 300 block of Herring Cove Rd in Halifax.  Officers learned that a 41 year old man and 33 year old woman had attended this location for purpose of selling articles of clothing to buyers that they had previously not known.  As the sale was taking place the woman was punched and the articles of clothing taken from her.  The suspects fled the area.  Halifax Regional Police patrol officers were assisted by a K9 unit, however, the suspects were unable to be located at this time.  The female victim was transported to hospital by EHS paramedics for treatment of non-life threatening injuries sustained in this incident.

The suspects are described as:

1)    A white, 30-40 year old man with dark hair, wearing a dark hat, white bandana, and dark faded jeans.

2)    A white woman, approx. 5’4”, thin build, dark hair in a ponytail.

Officers are looking to speak with anyone who may have any knowledge of this incident and ask that they contact Halifax Regional Police at 902-490-5020.
