As far as intersections go, the corner of Coburg & LeMarchant Street near Dalhousie University is as busy as the next. But with no crosswalk lights, two busy bus stops nearby, and traffic flowing quickly out of Dal Campus, it’s only a matter of time before someone gets hurt.
Many Dal students will tell you that this intersection is in dire need of traffic lights. Field reporter Josh Johnson observed quite a few unruly pedestrians as well, walking straight out into traffic without looking. What do you think? His video is below.
