Cocaine, Meth, and Firearms Seized as Two Women and a Man Face Arrest in Halifax

The HRP/RCMP Criminal Investigation Division Integrated Special Enforcement Section (SES) has arrested three people for drugs and firearms offences.

On October 31, 2023, the HRP/RCMP Criminal Investigation Division Integrated SES executed a search warrant at a home on Pockwock Rd. in Upper Hammonds Plains in relation to an ongoing investigation. The search warrant execution was assisted by the Nova Scotia RCMP Emergency Response Team and the Halifax Regional Police Emergency Response Team. Two women were located at the residence and safely arrested. While police were conducting their search, a man arrived at the residence and was also safely arrested. During the search police located and seized cocaine, crystal methamphetamine, prescription pills, a scale, cellular phones, three rifles and a shotgun.

The 44-year-old Upper Hammonds Plains woman, the 25-year-old Upper Hammonds Plain woman and the 48-year-old Upper Hammond Plains man, were all released from custody and will appear in Halifax Provincial Court on December 6, 2023 at 9:30 a.m. They will be facing charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking (2 counts).

The investigation is continuing.
