Cocaine seized, three arrested for Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking
On October 3, the Halifax District RCMP Street Crime Enforcement Unit (SCEU) searched six properties, arrested three men and seized cocaine and weapons.
As part of a SCEU investigation, members of the RCMP and Halifax Regional Police (HRP) searched the properties in Beaver Bank, Wellington, Middle Sackville and Dartmouth. This resulted in the seizure of cocaine, cash, firearms, ammunition, body armour and drug paraphernalia.
A 41-year-old man from Beaver Bank was arrested without incident during a traffic stop on Trinity Ln. and Ernest Ave. in Beaver Bank. He faces the following charges:
Two 50-year-old men from Wellington were arrested without incident at a home in Wellington. They are facing charges of Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Cocaine and Possession of Property Obtained by Crime.
All three men are schedule to appear in Dartmouth Provincial Court on November 20 at 9:30 a.m.
The investigation is ongoing.
