After a busy summer for all Fall activities are starting up again. The September Meeting of the Council of Community Organizations(COCO )will be held at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, September 21 at the Prospect Rd Community Centre, 2141 Prospect Road, Hatchet Lake. The host group is the Resources Opportunity Centre ,Barbara Allen will chair the meeting.
There will be lots of updates on activities such as the HRM Review of HRM Plan of 2006, opportunities to engage in ongoing protection of public lands especially islands, the Five Bridge Lakes Candidate Wilderness Area will soon receive its designation and with that milestone will come further engagement with the community members for its use. Councillor Reg Rankin will be able to give us an update on Drysdale Bog .
