Cogswell and Barrington Streets – Bridge Inspections

Friday, June 2, 2017 (Halifax, NS) – The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents and motorists that bridge inspections will take place Monday, Tuesday, and Friday of next week.

  • Monday, June 5 – Lanes will be narrowed on the Cogswell Street Interchange ramps from 9 a.m. and 4 p.m.
  • Tuesday, June 6 – Lane drops will be in effect on Barrington Street underneath the MacKay Bridge from 9 a.m. and 4 p.m.
  • Friday, June 9 – Lane drops will be in effect on Barrington Street near the MacKay Bridge from 9 a.m. and 4 p.m.

Traffic safety personnel will direct motorists, pedestrians and cyclists around the worksite, as needed.

Motorists should expect delays in the area and are asked to take alternative routes, if possible.

The municipality appreciates your patience while this work is underway.
