At 4:33 p.m. last evening, Colchester District RCMP responded to a bomb threat at Dalhousie Agricultural Campus in Bible Hill. The threat was made via a computer generated call which indicated there were explosive devices on the campus, and a potential of a person with a weapon.
RCMP officers met with officials from the Dalhousie Agricultural Campus and the decision was made to evacuate the campus to a nearby fire hall. The entire campus was searched by members of the RCMP and Dal Security, with assistance provided by the Bible Hill Fire Department. The search was completed at 10 p.m. and nothing suspicious was found. The campus and the surrounding roads were re-opened at that time.
The investigation is ongoing.
