Police are investigating a motorcycle crash on Main Street in Bible Hill.
At 12:07 a.m. this morning, Colchester District RCMP was dispatched to a motorcycle collision. Preliminary investigation determined that a south-west bound motorcycle went off the roadway and crashed into a residence. Nobody at the home was injured.
The sole occupant of the motorcycle, a 22-year-old man from Truro, was transported by EHS to Colchester East Hants Health Centre where he was pronounced dead a short time later.
The roadway was closed until 5 a.m. while an RCMP collision analyst remained at the scene. The incident is still under investigation.
Our thoughts are with the victim’s family and friends at this difficult time.
