Police are confirming that 43-year-old Steve Skinner was arrested by police on Margarita Island, Venezuela without incident on Sunday, May 15.

In July 2011, police issued an international arrest warrant for Skinner on the charge of second-degree murder in the death of Stacey Adams.  Adams was found dead in a Lake Echo home in April 2011.

Police will begin working with the authorities on the extradition process.
