At 4:17 a.m. Cole Harbour RCMP attended the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Cherry Brook Rd. Investigation led to the arrest of a 38-year old Halifax man.
It was discovered that the vehicle that he was driving was taken without the owner’s consent from a nearby bar. The car had been driven a distance on a rim with a blown tire.
The driver will face charges of Impaired Driving, Driving Over .08, Taking a Car Without the Owner’s Consent and Breach of Probation.
