Commission Issues Investor Alert

The Nova Scotia Securities Commission is alerting investors that FPE Trading and Jean-Smaille Germeil are not registered to sell securities in Nova Scotia.

At least one Nova Scotia resident has been solicited to invest with FPE Trading and Jean-Smaille Germeil.

The commission is seeking information regarding FPE Trading and Jean-Smaille Germeil.

If you or anyone you know has had dealings with either one, please contact Will McDonald at Will.McDonald@novascotia.ca or 902-424-8182 or toll-free at 1-855-424-2499.

To see if a company or person is registered, you can check the Canadian Securities Administrators’ National Registration Search: www.securities-administrators.ca/nrs/nrsearchResult.aspx?ID=1325 .

The Nova Scotia Securities Commission is the provincial government agency responsible for regulating the investment industry in the province.
