Commission Issues Investor Alert

The Nova Scotia Securities Commission is alerting investors that Vincenzo Pettinicchio, NPFB Europe SRL, Montreal Tickets and World of Tickets are not registered to sell securities in Nova Scotia.

This person and these companies have solicited Nova Scotia residents by Internet advertisements, such as Kijiji, to invest in ticket resale companies. Shortly after the NPFB Europe SRL advertisement was removed from the Internet, advertisements soliciting investments for Montreal Tickets and World of Tickets surfaced on the Internet using the same contact information.

The commission urges Nova Scotians to use extreme caution when dealing with firms that are not registered in Nova Scotia. It is illegal to solicit investments in the province without registering with the commission and complying with Nova Scotia securities laws.

To see if a company or person is registered, you can check the Canadian Securities Administrators’ National Registration Search: http://www.securities-administrators.ca/nrs/nrsearchprep.aspx?ID=1325 .

The Nova Scotia Securities Commission is the provincial government agency responsible for regulating the investment industry in the province.
