This has been my view most days since December. How lucky am I?

The one downside: being within two minutes of not one, but two, Beavertail vendors. Oh, sweet death.

I must admit I’ve enjoyed watching the often-packed skates moreso than participating in them. I’m not a confident skater and I fear injury the young and/or the elderly. Maybe I should have been breaking in at night for some quality “me time” on the ice. I assume it’s OK, as I’ve seen at least half a dozen folks attempt to go for midnight skates. Rapscallion youth!
