Cops looking for suspects after jewelry containing family remains stolen

Police are investigating a theft from a motor vehicle in Bedford last week where an item of great sentimental value was stolen.

Police received a report of a theft from a motor vehicle that occurred in the overnight hours of March 8-9 on Jon Jacques Court. The suspect(s) broke into the vehicle and stole a quantity of cash and personal property.

One of the items stolen was a pendant that contained a family member’s remains. It is described as a long necklace, with a stainless-steel locket, engraved with a quote “My Grandma My Angel”. It has one angel wing & a small stone hanging beside the wing.
