Cops release photo of property damage suspect

Police are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect in a property damage investigation that occurred this month.

On February 12 police received a report of damage that had been caused to a vehicle in the 800 block of Herring Cove Road in Halifax. A man damaged the vehicle with a bat then left the area in a vehicle.

The suspect is described as a man, approximately 5’10”, with a thin build and dark facial hair. At the time of the incident he was wearing light coloured pants, hooded sweater, winter jacket and hat.

The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information about this man or the incident is asked to contact police. Anonymous tips can be sent to Crime Stoppers by calling toll-free 1-800-222-TIPS (8477), submitting a secure web tip at www.crimestoppers.ns.ca or via the P3 Tips App.
