Costco is recalling its Kirkland Signature Probiotic Yogurt sold at its Canadian warehouses due to a potential health risk. The recall affects products purchased between September 3 and September 19, 2024, after Danone Canada, the supplier, identified that the yogurt may contain a type of yeast that could pose a risk to individuals with compromised immune systems. While the yeast is not known to grow at refrigerated temperatures, caution is being advised.
The affected products can be identified by the following best before dates:
- 2024 OC 18 (October 18, 2024)
- 2024 OC 20 (October 20, 2024)
- 2024 OC 22 (October 22, 2024)
