Bedford & area residents – another reminder that the Annapolis Group will be repairing and upgrading the Paper Mill Dam this summer.

Work will begin by them lowering the lake water level in early June. Their work is expected to be completed by the end of September.

While the Annapolis Group is undertaking their work, HRM will repair and upgrade the walls, steps, paths, etc in Scott Saunders Park.

This long overdue and requested park and beach work, and dam work, will mean that the beach will be closed this summer and there will be no lifeguards.

Short term pain for long term gain!
