Tuesday, Aug. 11, 2015 (Halifax, NS) – Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents and motorists that Cow Bay Road will be closed to traffic between Hornes and Shore roads starting tomorrow (Wednesday, Aug. 12) and continuing until Thursday night.
The partial road closure is necessary to install service laterals to a new development along Cow Bay Road.
Crews will be on site from 9 a.m. tomorrow (Wednesday) and the road is expected to remain closed until approximately 9 p.m. on Thursday.
While the section of Cow Bay Road from Hornes to Shore roads will be closed to traffic, the roads on either side of Cow Bay Road will be open to local traffic.
Detours will be in place and motorists are asked to use alternative routes whenever possible.
The municipality apologizes in advance for any inconvenience this partial road closure might cause.
