Coyote attack in Urban Farm area: Chronicle Herald

The Saturday, Jan 22 Chronicle Herald is reporting a coyote attack in the Urban Farm area. A Nova Scotia Power meter reader says that he encountered two pups and a mother coyote. The mother coyote bit the man’s sleeve but he was uninjured. A passerby with a dog helped to chase the coyote away. The attack occurred on Friday morning. The Herald says that this is the first reported coyote attack in the metro area.
