Students at Eaglewood Drive School were sent home last week with a newsletter telling parents to take precautions as coyotes had been spotted on the school property.
The Sunnyside School website states:
“A neighbour has informed the school that coyotes have been sighted on our property at the Eaglewood Drive site.
We have contacted the Department of Natural Resources about these sightings and have been advised to inform our community.
Please do not allow your children to play unsupervised on the school grounds after school especially close to sundown.
The Department of Natural Resources will be talking to our students at an assembly early in February.”
