Oh Mother Nature… you’re a tortured soul aren’t you? Yesterday was the first day of winter but we’re already snowed in! Today, we’ve been housebound because of freezing rain. Mind you, we still have power so we’re better off than some of our friends in Toronto.

Plus, it’s only a few days before Christmas so you know what that means… CRAZY KIDS!

So after watching four (Yes, 4) cheesy Christmas movies, I had to take drastic measures… it was craft time. I feared my kids’ eyes would be ruined from being stuck to electronic devices for most of the day. So I broke out my dollar store treasures and the kids are happily at work and not fighting!!! This is epic.

I even joined in on the fun. Here’s my contribution to craft-a-thon, go ahead, you can laugh… it looks nothing like the picture on the box:

So hubs has a beer and I’m sipping on some wine (surprise) and we’re watching the girls craft. This should keep them happy for 15 minutes…

Maybe tomorrow I’ll make something crafty out of all the wine corks I used this weekend…
