Crash with utility pole closes section of Portland Street

At 9:10 a.m., Halifax Regional Police received a report of a Motor Vehicle Collision where a vehicle struck a utility pole in the 300 block of Portland Street Dartmouth, knocking the power out in the area.  No one was injured, however electrical lines are down blocking the roads.    

Traffic Blocked: All traffic is blocking on Portland Street between Rodney Road and Old Ferry Road.   Traffic will remain closed for an extended period.
