Crews Working into Afternoon Rush on Alderney Drive

Tuesday, Oct. 28, 2014 (Halifax, NS) – The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents that due to unforeseen circumstances, crews installing a natural gas pipeline on Alderney Drive between Ochterloney Street and North Street will have to work into the afternoon rush hour.

This work will affect the two inbound lanes of Alderney, headed towards Wyse Road. Crews will maintain one lane of traffic in each direction during peak traffic. Crews are expecting to be off the road by about 4:30 p.m.

Motorists should expect delays and are encouraged to find alternative routes, if possible. Heritage Gas and the municipality apologize for any inconvenience this work may cause.
