Crime of the week – RCMP investigate suspicious fire, Beaver Harbour, N.S.

Nova Scotia Crime Stoppers is asking for the public’s assistance in solving a suspicious residential fire.

On June 3rd, 2012, at approximately 9:50 p.m., Sheet Harbour RCMP received a call of break and enter on Passage Road.

Suspects had broken into a home under construction, smashed all the windows and caused other damage in the home. Police believe the suspects left in a vehicle.

Three hours later, at approximately 1250 a.m., RCMP received a call stating the home was on fire. Neighbours called when they saw flames coming from the structure. Halifax Regional Fire Services and the RCMP continue to investigate. Police believe the fire is suspicious.
