Crime of the week – RCMP investigates property damage, Hubbards, N.S.

The RCMP and Nova Scotia Crime Stoppers is asking for the public's help in solving two cases of property damage. On June 4 & 11, 2015, the Tantallon RCMP Detachment responded to two separate complaints of property damage to several pieces of heavy machinery parked at a construction site on Mersey Rd.

On June 4 & 11, 2015, the Tantallon RCMP Detachment responded to two separate complaints of property damage to several pieces of heavy machinery parked at a construction site on Mersey Rd.

off Highway 103 in Hubbards. Total damages to the equipment are estimated at $5,000. The investigations are continuing.

Anyone who has information about these investigations is asked to call the RCMP at 1-800-803-7267, Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477), text TIP202 + your message to ‘CRIMES’ (274637), or by Secure Web Tips at www.crimestoppers.ns.ca. Calls to Crime Stoppers are not taped or traced and if police make an arrest and lay charges based on a tip, callers qualify for a cash reward from $50 -$2,000.
