Crime of the week – RCMP investigates robbery, Yarmouth, N.S.

Nova Scotia Crime Stoppers is asking for the public’s help in solving a robbery.

On the morning of April 25, 2015, two people were walking in the area of Willow Street in Yarmouth when they were assaulted then robbed of personal items by two male suspects.

The suspects are described as being in their twenties and were dressed in dark clothes. One is approximately 6 ft tall and the other is 5 ft 8 inches tall.

Anyone with information on this crime is asked to contact Crime Stoppers toll free at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477), text TIP202 + your message to ‘CRIMES’ (274637) or by Secure Web Tips at www.crimestoppers.ns.ca. Calls to Crime Stoppers are not taped or traced and if police make an arrest and lay charges based on a tip, callers qualify for a cash reward from $50 -$2000.
