I’M GOING TO THE CROSSFIT GAMES WITH GNC!!!!!!!!
A few weeks ago I posted that GNC has invited me to go to the CrossFit Games in California in July. I haven’t mentioned it much lately because I was scared it was too good to be true. But alas, it is 100% official and I COULDN’T BE HAPPIER!!!!!!
I’m sure some of you are sitting there wondering what the CrossFit Games are, or even what CrossFit is. They say a picture says a thousand words… Well watch this video on what CrossFit is and be left speechless. And to elaborate on what the CrossFit Games are, all I’m going to say is that it’s a competition for the fittest people on Earth. Check out this video which breaks the games down for you.
Did you watch the videos? I know… Right…
So where do I fit in to all of this? Well I’m going on behalf of GNC and Fitfluential. GNC Is the Official Vitamin and Sports Nutrition Retailer of the Reebok CrossFit Games and through my ambassadorship with FitFluential, they’ve asked me to go to California as a representative to blog and tweet about it.
Are you thinking “Seriously?” because I know I was!! But yup, I’m going to be at the games, taking pictures and video, interacting with the athletes and blogging about the whole experience. I can’t wait!
So over the next month and a half I’m going to be kicking my own ass and getting my ass kicked at my new gym, which is owned and operated by someone who is CrossFit level 1 certified, eating clean by sticking to my newly adopted Paleo ways, and getting ready to interact with the fittest people in the world.
What this means for you guys is that you’ll probably see me posting a lot more about my diet, supplementation and workouts, but really, that’s a win/win for everyone… Or at least that’s what I’d like to think. I’m pretty new to CrossFit as a part of a gym (been doing it on my own on and off for a few years) and the complete lifestyle, but I can’t wait to share all of my experiences with you guys!
Do any of you CrossFit? How long have you been doing it for? Any tips for me?
Disclosure: FitFluential compensated me for this campaign. All opinions are my own.
