Crown Attorney Appointed in Dartmouth


Bryson McDonald has been appointed a Crown attorney in Dartmouth.

“Mr. McDonald has a solid foundation as a Crown attorney and will be an excellent addition to our team,” said Martin Herschorn, director of Public Prosecutions.

A native of Lower Sackville, he graduated from Concordia University, Montreal in 2006 with a bachelor of science and in 2012 from Western Michigan University law school.

In 2013 Mr. McDonald joined East Coast Environmental Law in Halifax to conduct legal research. He articled with Boyne Clarke in Dartmouth beginning in 2014 and then was appointed a Crown prosecutor with the Alberta Crown Prosecution Service working in Fort McMurray.

A life-long hockey enthusiast, he officiated hockey in the minor leagues in the United States and continues to officiate junior hockey in Nova Scotia.
