Wednesday, Aug. 12, 2015 (Halifax, NS) – Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents and motorists that work will begin tomorrow (Thursday, Aug. 13), on completing permanent restoration following the natural gas main extension project on Cumberland and Colby drives.
The work on Cumberland Drive will take place between Cole Harbour Road and Colby Drive.
The work on Colby Drive will take place between Cumberland Drive and Avondale Road.
Two lanes will be maintained at all times during construction, with any periods of stop-and-go traffic taking place outside of the peak hours of 7 a.m. to 9 a.m., and 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
This work is expected to take approximately one week to complete.
Motorists should expect delays and are asked to use alternative routes whenever possible.
Heritage Gas and the municipality apologize in advance for any inconvenience this work may cause.
