Tuesday, Sept. 1, 2015 (Halifax, NS) – The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents that access to the Cunard Roundabout in Halifax will be limited overnight tonight and tomorrow night for line painting.
Starting at 7 p.m. tonight and continuing until 6 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 2, traffic will only be able to enter and exit the roundabout at Agricola Street and Cunard Street outbound.
The approaches and exits at Cunard inbound and North Park Street will be closed while crews paint the lines.
The following evening, the closures will reverse. Starting at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, traffic will only be able to enter and exit the roundabout at Cunard inbound and North Park. The approaches and exits at Cunard outbound and Agricola will be closed until 6 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 3.
Signage will be placed at the preceding intersections to divert motorists. Crews will accommodate access for local traffic as needed. Motorists should expect delays and are asked to use alternative routes whenever possible. The municipality regrets any inconvenience this road work may cause.
