Cyclist robbed in Dartmouth

On July 6th, 2020 at 1:22am Halifax Regional Police Responded to a robbery in the 100-200 block of Research Dr. in Dartmouth.  A male victim was riding his bike home from work when he was approached by another man who demanded cash from him.  The victim refused and the suspect produced a knife and again demanded cash.  The victim gave the suspect an undisclosed amount of cash.  Both persons involved in the incident were known to one another.  The male victim was not injured during the incident.  A 58 year old man was arrested outside his residence without incident.  He will be appearing in Dartmouth Provincial Court on October 22, 2020 at 9:30 am charged with robbery and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
