Cyclist Struck By Transit Vehicle

15-116625 At approximately 8:20 pm Halifax Regional Police members responded to a car versus cyclist motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Bilby St and Isleville St in Halifax, which involved a Halifax Transit vehicle.
A 33 year old female was transported by EHS to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.  The investigation is continuing at this time, a decision on Motor Vehicle Act infractions will be made upon the completion of that investigation.
Update to 15-116640, Motor Vehicle accident at Bilby St and Isleville St.  The driver of the Halifax Transit car was issued a summary offence ticket for Failing to Yield at through highway contrary to section 122(2) of the Motor Vehicle Act.
