Cyclist Threatened With Knife In Dartmouth

On August 26th at approx. 10:00 PM police responded to a report of a motor vehicle accident between a car and a bicyclist that occurred near 227 Windmill Rd in Dartmouth. 
The vehicle involved had fled the scene prior to police arrival. The bicyclist – a 36 yr old male received minor injuries and was treated then released by EHS at the scene. The vehicle and driver involved in this incident have not yet been located and the matter remains under investigation.
Update: 11:35am
Upon further investigation, police have determined that the cyclist shouted at the driver of the vehicle after he believed he was cut off. The collision occurred moments later, during which the passenger got out of the vehicle and threatened the cyclist with a knife before fleeing the scene in the vehicle. Police continue to investigate.
