Dance the night away in support of Northwood

Many of you will recall dancing the night away on Saturdays!

On Saturday, March 5 dance in support of a great local cause!

The event will take place at the Lebrun Centre in Bedford. This event will be in support of one of Bedford’s newest neighbours – the residents of the long term healthcare facility in West Bedford, operated by Northwood and named Ivany Place.

The attractive multi-coloured building is located next to the BMO Centre on Gary Martin Drive, off the Hammonds Plains Road.

The music will be provided by one of the best cover bands to ever play in our province – The Classics. They have also played for Bedford Minor Basketball dances.

For years, they regularly played The Thirsty Duck and a variety of other venues. If you like rock and pop music from the 1960’s to the 1990’s, this is the dance for you!

The Northwood staff welcomed their first residents last spring and it has been thriving since.

The feedback from the residents and their families and friends has been very positive. However, certain extras are still needed to make the facility more like a home for the 156 people who live there.

Tickets are $20 each.

So, if you are looking for a fun Saturday night dance and wish to support our newest neighbours, contact:

Can’t you just hear that classic song “Mustang Sally”?
