Dartmouth (Alderney) Ferry Service will be Reduced to One Trip Every Half Hour, Beginning Monday September 14

Starting Monday, September 14 the Dartmouth (Alderney) ferry will reduce weekday service from every 15 minutes, to one ferry every 30 minutes. This will be a temporary change for scheduled maintenance required by Transport Canada. The reduction is expected to last several weeks.
Ferry service from Dartmouth will continue to start at its normal time of 6:30 am, with departures every half hour (0 and 30 minutes past the hour) until the last ferry leaves Dartmouth at 11:30 pm.
Ferry service from Halifax will continue to start at its normal time of 6:45 am, with departures every half hour (15 and 45 minutes past the hour) until the last ferry leaves Halifax at 11:45 pm.
The Woodside ferry schedule will remain unchanged.
The unofficial Google maps trip planner MTransit.ca has been updated to take into account these changes in schedule times.
