Dartmouth Pet Store Robbed

  Police are looking for a suspect after a robbery in Burnside last night.

 

Police are looking for a suspect after a robbery in Burnside last night.
 
At approximately 6:50 pm tonight a lone male entered the Pets Unlimited store at 202 Brownlow Ave in Dartmouth. The male was armed with a hand gun and had his face covered with a mask. The male demanded money from the clerk and obtained a small amount of cash from the register. The suspect then fled the area on foot. No one was injured during the incident.
 
The suspect is described as being a dark complected male, approximately 5'9" in height, average build, wearing a black and gray zip up hoodie with his face covered by a camouflage mask.
 
Members of Halifax Regional Police patrol section as well as the HRM Integrated GIS section responded to this incident and are continuing the investigation. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact officers at 490-5016 or anonymously through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or online at www.crimestoppers.ns.ca.
