Dead Of Winter

FEATURED ITEMS: Coat, Dynamite. Boots (waterproof), Rockport.  Jeans, c/o Marshalls.

When it’s minis a million outside the best thing to do is to get yourself a great coat.
It’s the first thing people see when you walk in the door, and it’s the only thing people see on the street, bus, and/or train. When you feel like your outfit is buried underneath all the layers (it is), but having a great statement coat that works the entire look for you is a no brainer. I’m obsessed with this coat from Dynamite, and honestly I can’t believe it’s taken me this long to get it on the blog because this guy is a major show stopper. I get comments on it EVERY where I go, and from complete strangers, and the best part is it’s SUPER affordable.
I picked up this lovely from Dynamite when they were having a sale on outerwear back in October, and boy am I glad I did. I literally wear this every single day, and the longer length is perfect for keeping your legs sheilded from the cold as well. The fur is detachable, not that I’ve detached it yet, but I like the idea that I can remove it if I’m not feeling it (if that ever happens).
We should also talk about these boots. A lot of girls ask me what boots to get for winter that are both cute, and waterproof. If you follow me on instagram (@shortpresents) you know about my troubles with my Hunter boots. These Chelsea boots are from Rockport (if you can believe it), and I LOVE them.  I got these last winter, but they still have them in stock, and they are even on sale! Check them out here.
With this jacket and these boots I feel like I can totally tackle winter! What are some of your go-to pieces for Winter blog reader? Comment or tweet me @shortpresents I love getting new ideas!

Hope you have a great weekend!
