Death of senior citizen deemed a homicide

The suspicious death of a woman who was found deceased on July 11 at an address in Dartmouth has been deemed a homicide.

At approximately 11:12 a.m., police responded to a report of a woman found deceased in a residence on Lynwood Drive. Information gathered during the investigation led investigators to believe the death of Eleanor Noreen Harding, 85, was suspicious.

The Medical Examiner has completed the autopsy and her death has been ruled a homicide. 

The Integrated Criminal Investigation Division continues to investigate Eleanor’s death and investigators are asking anyone who observed anything unusual in the area of Lynwood Drive between the evening of July 9 and the morning of July 10 to contact police.
