Delays at Joe Howe and Bayers Road

The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents to expect delays at the intersection of Joseph Howe Drive and Bayers Road on Sunday, Nov. 8. This work will require the traffic signals to be shut down from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m.

Crews will be on site from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. When the traffic signals are shut down, traffic control personnel will be in place to direct motorists, cyclists and pedestrians around the work site. When the signals are on, two-way traffic will be maintained.

Motorists should expect delays and are asked to use alternative routes whenever possible.

Your patience is appreciated while this work is completed.

Construction During COVID-19: Construction crews will strive to maintain physical distancing measures, however, residents may see workers within two metres of each other while completing certain tasks which aligns with the exemptions outlined in the Provincial Health Order. If approaching construction crews, residents are asked to maintain at least two metres of physical distancing.
