diane lai: combat eczema dry skin naturally

Diane Lai is a Canadian company that creates all natural, organic skin care products that are gentle enough to use on newborns but are perfect for the entire family.  If highly sensitive skin is an issue for you {pick me! pick me!} and there are sensitivities to chemicals and heavy fragrance then this is a really lovely brand for you to check out.diane lai: combat eczema dry skin naturally

I’ve wrote about Aidan’s extremely sensitive skin in previous posts and over time it hasn’t changed. I still need to moisturize his face and arms at least once a day to keep him from getting dry, red irritated little bumps especially on his cheeks. I’ve been using all three of the Diane Lai products {Rejuvenate $45, Soothe $34 and Fresh $14} for quite some time now. After I was sure I wasn’t going to have a reaction, I tried the Sooth Spot Treatment on his cheeks. I was amazed that after one application over night, about half of the red bumps were gone.  After a few applications it kept getting better and better and now I’m managing it with this product. I’m not crazy about the scent of lavender on my little guy, but the product works great and the scent isn’t overwhelmingly strong, so no biggie.

Soothe is an thick, ultra moisturizing cream that heals and protects the skin. It’s intensive hydrating and healing ingredients like grape seed oil, coconut oil, shea butter, olive oil, palm kernel oil and gentle enough to even use on broken, irritated skin.  If the skin is chapped or cracked, this can be re-applied frequently to get on top of it and then maintained by using once or twice daily {ideally after a shower or bath and before bed}.

Their newest addition to the line is the Fresh Daily Body Wash. It’s a creamy, non-drying, moisturizing wash that’s all-natural plant based with organic shea butter, lavender oil, pomegranate extract, and grape seed extract. It smells fresh and spa like and doesn’t irritate my skin and even my little guys can use it. It lathers up really nicely and you can even add a little bit to the tub for an all natural bubble bath.

Diane Lai is available here or you can find retailers online and in-store here.
