Did you see who tried to move the SUV?

At 2:19 p.m. on September 1, someone attempted to move a Toyota Rav4 from its parking spot near the gift shop at Peggy’s Cove.

The person who tried to move the vehicle wasn’t successful, and they appear to have left the SUV in neutral before leaving the vehicle.

He is described as a man in his forties with black hair. It was parked on a slight incline, and it began to roll.

It knocked one woman down and ran over her hand, then pushed another woman against a large rock.  Neither woman suffered serious injuries but both were transported to hospital via EHS.

The man is described as being in his forties with black hair.

Halifax District RCMP is continuing its investigation into this incident. They are attempting to find out who tried to move the SUV. This person was not the owner of the vehicle, just a bystander who attempted to move it out of the way as it was blocking traffic.

Anyone who knows the identity of the person who tried to move the SUV is asked to contact Halifax District RCMP at 902-490-5020. File # is 18-134761.
