This evening at 7:20 p.m., Digby RCMP, EHS and Fire Dept responded to a single vehicle crash on Highway 217 in Rossway, Digby County where a vehicle had gone off the roadway and struck a tree. The female driver was pronounced deceased at the scene. RCMP are continuing to investigate the crash with the assistance of a collision re-constructionist.
Traffic flow on Highway 217 between Timpany Lane and Gullivers Cove Road is reduced to one lane at this time
